About Me
I’m a data analyst with a passion for using data for positive social purposes. I believe strongly that the third sector should be on a level footing with private business in terms of having the organisational tools of the modern era, and have worked to help achieve social change through data throughout my career. With a Masters in statistics, a qualification in book-keeping, and experience ranging from cultural charities to the utility sector, I’m experienced with a wide range of information formats and techniques. I thrive on taking raw data and turning it into detailed and compelling evidence, using graphical presentation to great effect and to help bridge the gap between specialists and laymen.
About Our Mission

It has never been easier to collect and use data, and that is driving truly radical changes across the world, from analytical AI to internet advertising. With properly utilised data, we can understand the minutest details and the sweeping trends directing them, and forecast through into the future with certainty bolstered and uncertainty precisely measured.

Yet most of the third sector lags behind in utilising these developments. It’s not hard to see why, as the charity sector is increasingly poor in money, time and expertise. A lot of its work is in the form of soft outputs that are hard to quantify. But considering the manifold gains working with data can create for an organisation, a small investment can reap huge, long-term rewards.

There’s a strong chance you have the data that can prove this already—you just haven’t looked at it, or are not sure what to do with it. Even though they don’t utilise them, the majority of charity organisations have accumulated major databases, simply through daily operations—email and postal addresses, demographic data from forms, evaluations, donors, even internal records in older formats. With my help, you can make that data work for you, turning these different fragments into complete tools, and by cross-referencing with publicly available databases, discover the desired insights. At this stage, you may not even know what you don’t know. I can help you find out.
